Standing Strong: Falls Prevention and Management Symposium

The DADS Quality Assurance and Improvement unit is sponsoring the Standing Strong: Falls Prevention and Management symposium to disseminate information regarding treatment and intervention for individuals with disabilities and older Texans.
The symposium will deliver best practice regarding issues surrounding various disabilities and aging, and is designed for nursing facility administrators, direct contact staff, directors of nursing, nurses, social workers, therapists, physicians and other interested individuals.
This full-day conference will offer continuing education credit for the following disciplines:
- Pharmacy
- Nursing
- Social Work
- Dietitian
- Nursing Facility Administration
The registration fee is $50 and registration is open to professionals and other parties interested in falls prevention and management. View the complete symposium schedule.
